It is quite easy to navigate thru the store, the shopping cart, and ultimately checkout. You will be able to make a purchase and will be given the choice of paying with your credit card via my secure PayPal link or print your order form and mail a check or money order.
Click the STORE button. Choose from the list of Drum Corps currently available, or Search in the Search box. Click the items you would like to review and/or purchase, then add them to your shopping cart. When finished just click on the Checkout link. Review your order. If you would like, you may register your information so an account is set up which will ease your shopping experience on your next visit.
Pricing
I have maintained prices at the same level since starting Drum Corps Miniatures 12 years ago. Since then pewter prices have gone up about 40%. Pewter is the main cost for each figure and the price is a combination of the weight plus the complexity of the painting and fabrication. Some figures also are variations of current figures, which require some Dremel grinding, and paint purchases. I consider these specialty items and they are priced to reflect the added cost of production in time.
Shipping and Handling
The new store bases shipping on the total shipping weight of each item in your order. This price is based on US Postal Service rates. This is the most accurate way to charge for shipping.
I have updated the on-line store to better reflect the actual shipping costs for international shipping. As I zero in on actual U.S. Post Office country rates, rates will become more country specific and accurate. This is an ongoing project.
In Stock/Out of Stock
Not all figures are in stock. Please feel free to order them, as I will put the order into the weekly production schedule. Production may only take a few days. When ready I will ship the entire order at once.
Royalty Fees
You will notice a Corps licensing fee added to each order. This is a 10% surcharge that is designed to share the cost of licensing which I pay to the different Drum Corps. I also donate figures for auctions and raffles, which adds to the amount raised.
Refunds/Replacements
Full refunds will be made on returned products on current orders. A 14-day return policy is in effect. As I have improved my production knowledge and techniques over the years, you may have purchased a figure that has broken or lost an arm or drum. I will replace or repair any and all figures. Please return to me with $5.00. The $5.00 is to cover the boxing and shipping to return the new figure to you.
