The short version of my story is that I was a life long Marine, officer and enlisted. I was a Drum Corps fan in high school. During my many travels I began to be interested in hand painted, miniature, antique toy soldiers. I thought they were great but I didn't really care about the Coldstream Guards. My thought was since the current activity is an off shoot of the age old units and bands the
same type of figures could be made for the modern day Drum and Bugle Corps cctivity.
Thinking that I went about training my self on the Who, What, When, and How of the production process. Four years after my research began, I produced my 1st figure of the SCV Bottle Dance. Little did I know then that the real challenge was purely a logistical one.
I went on the road selling at shows during the summers of 1999, 2000,and 2001. After Sept 11th, 2001 I was recalled to active duty for 3 years. I have been slowly putting everything back together after several years of inactivity. I began selling on the internet and my website again in 2007.
This summer I am going to attend a few shows and look forward to inceasing that amount in 2013. The past few years I have split my time between my parents, earning 2 more college degrees and rebuilding the company. I am looking forward to devoting my full attention to addidng more figures and corps to the product line in the coming years.
